Welcome
Welcome to Inofast Manufacturing
With over thirty years of experience in the fastener industry, Inofast Manufacturing Inc. is your choice for all machined products.
We produce industry-standard fasteners as well as custom products manufactured in the material you require and tested to the specifications you need.
We have no minimum on lot size, and we will attempt to quote any product with a drawing. We routinely hold tight tolerances and regularly supply some of the most respected contractors in the nation.
While naval fasteners are our specialty, any military, nuclear, aerospace, or mission-critical product is well suited to our capabilities.

Capabilities
Inofast Manufacturing maintains a diverse array of CNC machining centers as well as manual tools to produce our high-quality parts. Among our machines are traditional 2 and 4-axis lathes, 3-axis mills, lathes with integrated live tooling, an 8-axis combination mill/turn machine, and a high-horsepower lathe with an extra-large machining envelope.
Our machines are operated by a team of experienced and quality-conscious operators, skilled at holding tight-tolerances in the toughest of materials. Machining code is produced by a combination of talented CAD/CAM programmers and sophisticated automation software to minimize geometry errors.
We are able to produce both cut and rolled threads in virtually any standard or custom series.
In addition to our in-house capabilities, Inofast Manufacturing works with a large network of local and national subcontractors. These subcontractors primarily handle our post-machining process needs. Common processes include heat treating, plating or coating, grinding, nylon locking, welding, and more. All subcontracted processes are performed in accordance with the procedures required by your specification. We collect and verify all certification documents from these specialists and include them with our final document package.

Products
While capable of producing a wide variety of products, Inofast Manufacturing is most adept at machining naval and military-grade fasteners including (but not limited to) bolts, screws, studs, nuts, pins, and washers. These fasteners strictly adhere to dimensional requirements defined in federal and military standards. They have tighter tolerances and require more testing than their commercial-grade counterparts. Production in accordance with Level I, Sub-safe, and MIL-I-45208 requirements is also available. As with all products, parts can be produced in any material grade.
In addition to fasteners, Inofast is a skilled producer of custom shafts. With a diameter limit of fifteen inches and a length limit of sixty inches, we can produce a vast number of multi-featured shafts regardless of complexity. We are able to satisfy restrictive concentricity limitations, surface finish requirements, and straightness provisions.
Finally, Inofast Manufacturing serves as a 100% custom part job shop. We take pride in our willingness to review every request for quotation regardless of the drawing's requirements. We routinely manufacture valve, pump, turbine, and compressor components, including prototype parts and small-lot repair parts.
Specifications
When producing quality-focused parts, manufacturing excellence is only half of the equation. Regardless of physical features, a critical application component is only as good as the documentation that backs it up. At Inofast Manufacturing, our knowledge of military, federal, and industry specifications sets us apart from the pack.
Using a state-of-the-art information system, we ensure that your part's dimensions are precise, the material chemistry is in conformance, the physical requirements are met, the marking is accurate, the inspection sampling plan is satisfied, the testing criteria is followed, and the post-machining process procedures are executed properly. Finally, all of the data and documentation collected throughout the production process is presented to you in a secured, easy to understand, electronic certification package. View a sample of our certification package here.
Some common specifications we produce to include MIL-S-1222H, MIL-DTL-1222J, FF-S-86, MIL-B-857, ASTM A193, and ASTM A194. Of course we are not limited to those specifications or to specifications that we have seen before. We will interpret and produce to any specification you require, including your own custom specifications.
Our overall approach to product quality is governed by our Quality Management System*. This system is based upon MIL-I-45208A, the military precursor to ISO 9001.
